I confess. I was adding a video page to my portfolio category and was trying to think of some clever way to spin the old “a picture is worth a thousand words” into a video application. I turned to one of my favorite brainstorming tools–yes, it was Google–to see how many other people have had this amazing idea (!). I never got past the Learning is Messy listing. The most recent post on this blog for educators was about a 4th grade class that Skypes a classmate whose leukemia prevents her from attending school. It’s truly a heartwarming story and one that helps you realize that although technology can distance us from one another, it can also be an amazing way to connect.
